Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account & profile: phone number (for sign-in), display name, age, gender, the area you choose, bio, answers to match questions, and any photo you upload. Your legal name is never shown to other members.
• Verification: identity and liveness checks are performed by a dedicated verification partner. We receive only the result (verified / not verified) and a reference id — we do not store your ID document.
• Activity: likes, matches, messages, scheduled dates, check-ins, and reliability standing, used to run the service and enforce the Stood-Up Policy.
• Payments: subscriptions are billed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We never see or store card numbers; we receive only subscription status.

How we use it

• Matching you with verified members nearby and suggesting cafes between you.
• Safety: enforcing verification, 18+ eligibility, blocks, reports, and the Stood-Up Policy.
• Service messages (match, message, and date notifications). We don't sell your personal information.

Sharing

Other members see only your public profile (display name, age, area, photo/avatar, bio, answers). Service providers that run our infrastructure (hosting, database, verification, payments) process data on our behalf under their own security obligations. We disclose information if required by law or to protect members' safety.

Your choices

• Edit your profile, filters, or photo anytime in Settings.
• Delete your account in Settings → Delete account. This removes your profile, matches, and messages from the service.
• For data questions or requests, contact support@convelabs.com.

Retention & security

We keep data while your account is active and delete it when you delete your account, except records we must keep for safety or legal reasons (for example, reports about serious misconduct). Data is stored with access controls, and all membership changes are validated server-side.

Age

Coffee Date is for adults 18+. We do not knowingly allow minors on the service.
